Barbara lives in Alice Springs, and from 2003 to 2006 she created, with her husband Ron, spiritual tours on a charter basis for spiritual groups. This work came by word-of-mouth, and fitted in around their Palm Valley Tours 1 & 2 day tours, and Barbara's work with vibrational essences and Angel Healing. For Barbara the tours to Palm Valley, one of their favourite sacred places, have been a great training ground in organizing and operating tours. For Ron this has been the realization of his dream to take small groups of people on sacred journeys into Central Australia. In 2006 Barbara created the Journey of Heart tours which she & Ron operated for four years. In 2010, Barbara feels guided to take a break at least for this year- from leading spiritual tours.

Barbara's story
My love for flowers - and traveling the land - began at an early age. As a child my garden had several large trees, and I sheltered under them when I needed some peace. And I loved licking dew - flower essence - from garden flowers.
I had many enjoyable family holidays in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, at our beach shack and at relatives' farms. I've always sensed the power of journeying. Just setting out to somewhere different helps me find a new perspective.

At about the age of thirty I started to realize my dream of being a healer and trained in the BRETH process. I started creating flower essences in 1991 with the help of my friend Kaliana Rose (Rose of Raphael essences). In 1992 I journeyed with my three children to Central Australia. I felt very much at home at Uluru and near Alice Springs. Two years later I returned with a friend with the intention of making flower essences, which was a profound experience. Later, I chose the name "Essence of the Centre" for my essences, to reflect the energy of Central Australia and to express the ability of essences to talk to our soul, or centre.

I was in a meditation group for several years that was dedicated to opening healing communication with spiritual realms, to bring balance to personal or geophysical energies on Earth, and in other galaxies. From that group I gained more trust in my own channel. During subsequent meditations & healing sessions I have developed a strong resonance with Archangel Metatron and the Divine Mother, who open doorways to other divine helpers - angels- when required, and asked. We must remember to ask for help so we can feel the help that is constantly energetically offered from Spirit.
Angel Healing developed for me from the principles of respect, intuition, clear intention and presence. Archangel Raphael appeared to me in 1997, and said "Keep it simple, call it Angel Healing".

I enjoy individual sessions to assist people to remember our own angelic presence, innate wisdom, love and joy. An Angel Healing session combines channeling, singing, aura cleansing, Divine Love Pulsing, vibrational essences and sometimes humour - "laughter is the best medicine". In 2008, at the Atila camp during one of our journeys, I was told that the group had helped in the opening of a healing "Portal of Grace". This portal is also available during Angel Healing sessions.

In 2002, I needed to make a new start in life, and with my children living independently of me, it seemed a perfect time to return to Central Australia. The following year I was involved with a women's spiritual journey near Alice Springs, and at the end of it I spoke with Ron, who had been driving for that group. He had been so inspired by the journey that we started to talk about doing similar tours together. We decided to use the name "Essence of the Centre' because it expressed the connection to the land of the Red Centre that we facilitate with our tours and that is so important to us. As we became closer friends, the relationship changed into a conscious loving soul marriage. We are blessed to have found each other, and together we fulfill our dreams."
